How is Mathnasium of Cathedral Heights providing a safe and healthy environment?

Aug 20, 2020 | Cathedral Heights

We know there are still many questions and concerns regarding the upcoming academic school year. Many schools in our NWDC community are using remote learning or a hybrid approach. At Mathnasium of Cathedral Heights, here are the things we are certain of:

1. We are open! Our team of math experts is delivering instruction both in our Cathedral Heights center AND online. Your child’s safety is our top priority. Here are some procedures and safety measures we are enforcing:

  • disinfect high-touch surfaces often
  • limit the number of students to follow social distancing guidelines
  • require EVERYONE to wear a mask and sanitize their hands

Of course, students will continue to have the option to learn via video-conference with Mathnasium@home… whichever works best for your family.

2. We are here to help. We work with your child to reach their individual math goals! (getting ahead in math? filling in knowledge gaps? preparing for standardized tests?)

3. We will continue to assess your child. Every child is unique and will receive a customized learning plan. We have your child take regular assessments in order to benchmark their progress and continue customizing their plan.

4. We communicate. We prepare progress reports regularly to provide your family with the child’s progress. We can discuss these results via phone or email. Additionally, we do have the option to schedule an in-person or video-conference conversation.

5. We make math make sense. We go at your child’s pace to ensure they are understanding math instead of just memorizing methods and answers. Our math expert team uses visual, tactile, aural, didactic, and Socratic techniques during your child’s sessions. Our goal is to build your child’s mathematical thinking skills to create efficient problem-solvers!

Self-schedule an assessment for your child today either in our Cathedral Heights center - OR - on our video-conference platform.
