Math Instructor (Part-time)
Mathnasium has part-time math Instructor positions available for motivated, responsible, and passionate individuals. Successful candidates understand the importance of math education and use their impeccable math skills and outgoing personality to help children learn.
These are part-time positions. Applicants must be able to commit to working 2 to 5 days a week (8 - 20 hours per week; though more hours may be available) Monday - Thursday between the hours of 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday between the hours of 9:30 am - 2:00 pm.
We DO NOT have summer-only or seasonal positions.
BS degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or other technical field is preferred. However, high school and college students with strong math skills and working on a technical or business degree will be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to teach students in upper-level high school math courses. Candidates must possess excellent skills of communicating and working with all ages of children and be able to help students build strong self-confidence with math.
All candidates must:
- Pass a Math Literacy Test (includes up to Algebra 2) without a calculator.
- Be available to work at least 2 to 5 days per week.
- Previous tutoring experience is a plus.
- Pass a background check.
Center Director (Full-time)
Mathnasium is always looking for talented “math people” to fill Center Director positions! We promote our current instructors to management positions. A Mathnasium Center Director is responsible for the overall success of an assigned center, which includes both sales and educational activities. Successful Center Directors are PASSIONATE about math education, LOVE working with kids of all ages, and have the DESIRE to help students & instructors succeed!
