The instructors have been wonderful for my son. They engage with him and make learning math interesting. The biggest plus is the increased confidence my son displays about learning math. The biggest drawback is the price. I wish there was a way to make Mathnasium more affordable and accessible to more people.

My son went from a 21 on his ACT-Math section to a 25 after attending 20 sessions at Mathnasium! I was soooooo happy and relieved. This $600 made all the difference and will pay off big time in college tuition/scholarships. At first, I was worried that he didn't have the right tutor and they weren't focusing on ACT, which was my goal. Yet, after speaking with them, they were so super accommodating. They set him up with a tutor that could work with him on ACT math, and my son always said how much he liked the tutor. He enjoyed going to Mathnasium. I about cried when I saw his ACT scores after attending Mathnasium this summer. I can't express how much I am appreciative for all they did. I know good teaching, as I am a certified teacher myself, so I knew this was good tutoring taking place. Financially $600 was worth it to have so much of his college fees now guaranteed to be taken care of. I would recommend them at my school, Goldsmith Schiffman and to any parent whose kiddo needs some good math tutoring.

My child seems to have a better understanding of the material now, and grades have improved to reflect this. The staff has been very easy to work with. I appreciate the service they have provided any time I have had issues with scheduling. Overall a positive experience, if you have an interested student and schedule enough tutoring sessions in a month it's a good value.

I have been super happy with the people at Mathnasium. They are all professional and give great positive reinforcement. My girls love going in for tutoring. They even make the experience positive for my six year old son who usually accompanies me for pick up and drop off. He can't wait until he's old enough for Mathnasium too!

I have very much so enjoyed the staff and management of Mathnasium. I am an assistant principal who has enrolled my own son there for some additional ACT math help. They have been fabulous to work with! They also brought some items by my school for our students and teachers. We love Mathnasium! We feel at home when we arrive and the kids have learned so much! Our girls have been spending a couple hours a week for the past 3 or 4 summer and I don't see any reason to stop! I called Mathnasium at the recommendation of several people My sister took my nieces when they were having problems and both are now STEM related college graduates My 11th grade son "hates" math, but he did not hate Mathnasium and after attending his Algebra /Trig went from low F to passing respectability. I cannot recommend the program highly enough.

Mathnasium has helped my daughter in the past three months tremendously. She is ADHD and needs help with understanding math and the process at her own pace. She went from makes D's and F's to making A's and B's on her math tests within 3 months. We are so thankful for all the support, guidance, and help Mathnasium has given to our daughter and our family. She is so much more confident in school and I think that is what means the most to her Dad and I. She always leaves her tutoring session at Mathnasium with her shoulders back and proud of herself. Mathnasium in Huntsville has been a great help to my family during covid when I have felt out online math instruction needed some serious help.
The director heard my concerns and helped come up with a plan to get my daughter where she needs to be for her grade level. My daughter seems more confident when completing math quizzes and tests and I know that is due to Mathnasium.

I like the structure - there is a personalized learning plan for every child. Skills are built in the right order that ease understanding of the next concept. My kids actually look forward to their classes- they enjoy the interaction with the instructors in addition to learning math. One of my kids needed to improve her math grades, which she did, to a solid A. Another joined to get some extra challenge worked into a school program and to get ahead. It works for both of them. Management of Mathnasium is very helpful and accommodating of our preferred schedule for the classes and provides regular updates on my kids' progress.

We love Mathnasium. Exceptionally well managed friendly place that helped my child to recover her math grades and get ahead of the school program. The Mathnasium's program is well structured and tailored to every child's needs in math. Scheduling classes is easy and times are flexible. They have online tutoring option. It works beautifully for my family. We've been with Mathnasium for over a year. Even though my child is feeling confident in math now, I we are going to stick with Mathnasium through another year while the pandemic makes schooling more challenging than ever.

Both of my boys were aghast when I told them I signed them up for 3 months of Mathnasium. “But we’re going fine in Math. A’s and B’s”.
‘A little extra practice won’t go astray” I replied.
Physically dragging them just about kicking and screaming from the car, they “suffered” through their first session. Learning that games and incentive prizes were involved, at the conclusion of their first session they asked me when we would be going back for the next session!
Needless to say my boys have overcome the fear and stigma of tutoring and I believe will happily consider tutoring as an option in the future when they need extra help.

My daughter finally feels comfortable working on her issues with math at Mathnasium. She’s not embarrassed or humiliated to ask for help. This has been a God send for us. Wonderful experience! My son is always ready to come and get help whenever he has math homework or a test. We as parents feel confident that we can bring him there and knows that he can come in, sit down and start working with someone who can immediately respond to help needed.

My neighbor actually recommended Mathnasium. I had seen the facility but did not know anything about the service. I called and got a quick response with a consultation meeting and TESTING for my grandson the next day. We met Crystal and I must say, I was impressed when I walked in the door. The room was full of students of all ages and each instructor had from one to three students at half-moon tables. The students were hard at work and seemed to be engrossed in what they were doing. Crystal met us at the door and was very professional. She started the testing to find my grandson's strengths and weaknesses then she and I met to discuss the program strategies. Being a retired Special Educator, I had a barrage of questions. Crystal answered all my questions to the fullest and explained the testing results. Based on the results, she made her programming recommendations. Her recommendations were very doable and my grandson started the next day. He loves going and he is excited that he is actually understanding Algebra I . He told me he likes the way they teach and for the first time he feels good about his math ability. He told me he didn't feel dumb anymore!!!!!! One on one instruction can NOT be beat!!!! Errors are caught almost immediately and corrected. AND of course, students are praised and encouragement abounds. I highly recommend this establishment if you have a child who needs help in math. The curriculum is based on where the child is and takes him as far as he wants to go. The sky is the limit.

We love mathnasium! My son is just beginning 6th grade. He went to mathnasium over the summer. I didn’t want him to fall behind during summer break. He never complained when I would take him. Even when it interfered with playing. That made me realize what a good job they do making learning fun! Crystal is wonderful. So helpful and kind. The Huntsville Mathnasium office staff was amazing! Crystal was so helpful right from the beginning helping myself and my son feel like with their help, he could achieve a better understanding of his math skills. The tutors were amazing and if not for them, my son would not have done as well as he did throughout the year. I highly recommend Mathnasium for a struggling student. And, don't wait too late to seek help. We almost did but were so thankful we enrolled him in time to catch up and stay on top of his assignments. Can't thank all of your staff enough!

Mathnasium has been great for my 5th grade son. Whenever he comes home with math homework that I can't help with, we head to Mathnasium. He loves the instructors. They are so helpful and great at explaining things on my son's level. We are at the Huntsville location and Crystal is great to work with! It's a great place for any child who is struggling with math!

Please, inform parents when you are going to be closed. My son goes to a private school and we were not aware that you would be closed the week before his exams. His school was not on the same schedule as public schools. It would have been nice for you to offer an alternative for his exam week.

I'm sorry that you did not receive the information of the adjusted Mathnasium hours for the first week of Winter Break. An email was sent out to all families on 12/13, and a sign was posted on the door on 12/11. We requested that the instructors remind the students of the holiday center times as well. I see that your son attended Mathnasium during the week that the information was released.
