   Mathnasium of La Canada is located at 649 Foothill Blvd., La Canada Flintridge, CA 91011, in the Plaza de La Canada shopping plaza. The center is near Gelson’s supermarket, TJ Maxx, and other local businesses such as Massage Envy, OrangeTheory Fitness, and a nail salon.

• Does Mathnasium of La Canada offer online tutoring?

  Yes. Mathnasium of La Canada offers both in-center and online tutoring. 

  All students receive face-to-face instruction in a supportive group environment and work with the same caring tutors, whether they choose to attend in person or online. 

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No. The experience is designed to be consistent across both formats. 

  Online students follow the same customized learning plans and work directly with the specially trained tutors they would meet at our La Canada center. 

• What math classes can your La Canada tutors help with?

  We can support students with any K–12 math class or topic, including Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. 

  Our tutors follow personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s needs, helping them build foundational skills, improve grades, and gain confidence in math. 

• What does mathematics tutoring cost at Mathnasium of La Canada?

  Mathnasium of La Canada provides premium value through a flat monthly membership and a one-time enrollment fee. Most students attend two to three times per week.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring?

  No. Membership pricing is the same whether students attend online, in person, or in a hybrid format.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  Each student begins their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment to identify their current math skills, knowledge gaps, and goals. 

  This allows us to create a personalized learning plan that supports their unique learning path and academic success. 

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of La Canada, we use the Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven techniques to help students truly understand and even enjoy math. 

  Our tutors build on what each student already knows, introduce new concepts step by step, and help them strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence that will serve them in the classroom and beyond. 

• Do you work with advanced students or students who are struggling with math?

  Yes! We support students of all skill levels.

• Do you work with homeschooled students in La Canada?

• Do you help students with their homework?

  Yes. Our tutors make time during each session to help students with their math homework and ensure they understand the concepts they’re working on in school. 

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No. All learning takes place during in-center or online sessions. We do not assign additional homework, allowing students to focus on learning and progress while they’re with us. 

• Does Mathnasium of La Canada prepare students for math on standardized tests?

  Yes. Mathnasium of La Canada helps students prepare for school-based and standardized math tests, including state assessments, ACT®, and SAT®. 

  Our test preparation includes personalized learning plans, targeted practice, and strategies to improve both skills and test performance.
