Summer 2017 Math Facts Winners

Aug 1, 2017 | Ahwatukee

Math facts fluency refers to the ability to recall the basic facts in all four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) accurately, quickly and effortlessly.  When students achieve automaticity with these facts, they have attained a level of mastery that enables them to retrieve them for long-term memory without conscious effort or attention.  With math facts fluency, students will have an easier time in doing calculations correctly and completing their math tests in the alloted times, especially as they move into upper grades.

Every summer, Mathnasium holds contests to promote math facts fluency. This past summer, the math fact contest winners and the most improved students are listed in the table below.  Congratulations to all the winners!
