The NWEA, (a non-profit reseach based orgranization) which offers tests aliigned with states to measure academic progress, is now predicting that children in elementary school will experience the largest slide in their math comprehension and skills. But the impact straddles all grade levels. These slides will more signifcant if they already had math learning gaps before COVID.
