Arvada Trail Days - This Saturday!

The first Saturday in June every year is National Trails Day! Celebrate with the 2018 Arvada Trails Day this Saturday from 10 AM - 2 PM at the Majestic View Nature Center and Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge.

Explore nature as you move your feet or pedal your bike and participate in all of the eco-friendly activities. What's more? You can also learn about resource conservation and enjoy some of Arvada's 150 miles of trails: hiking, biking and horseback riding!

How do you experience these trails? For starters, you could start with a 5-mile family bike ride or a 15-mile recreational bike ride at 9 am on Saturday. Afterward, take a relaxing stroll on the trails to visit the many educational booths. Bring your binoculars to partake in the many bird-themed games and nature activities.

• $50 prize drawings toward local outdoor stores

• Live Bird demonstrations and meet other animal friends from Nature’s Educators

• Free refreshments, both tasty and healthy!

• Kids’ games and activities

• 9:30am Guided nature walks within both Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge and Majestic View Park. Dogs are not allowed.
