In-Center Opening from June 01,2020

Mathnasium is open for in-center tutoring from June 01, 2020.

We can’t wait to see our students again!

For the first few weeks, we will be requiring student visits to be scheduled in advance so that we can avoid having too many people in the center. Appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours. Please text on 832-630-6178 to schedule a session.

The decision to re-open was made carefully and we are following the federal and state guidelines. Students will have the option to learn In-center OR continue online with Mathnasium@home.

Our new safety protocol will require every student who attends our center to:

• Please do not send your child if they are sick, currently have, or have had a fever in the past 24 hours.
• Wear a face mask while in center .(If needed they may keep their mask in a paper bag in their binder).
• Wash or sanitize their hands upon arrival and before they leave.
• Cooperate with social distancing rules at the tables.

To accommodate social distancing:

• Students will be admitted only during their scheduled sessions.
• Student drop off and pick up only.  
• The Parent Area will be closed until further notice.

Additional procedures (disinfecting, etc.):

• Instructors will wear masks while working with students.
• Instructors will sanitize hands at a minimum of every 30 minutes.
• One pencil and eraser per student (kept in their binder).
• Binders will be sanitized when placed back on the shelf.
• Students will be seated 6 or more feet apart (except siblings).
• No games will be played but if we really need to use manipulatives they will be sanitized after every use.
• Table and chair will be sanitized when the student leaves prior to the next student.
• Staff will check students in and out.
• Only instructors will remove items from the Rewards Cabinet.
• Door handles and other high touch areas will be sanitized throughout the day.
