Supporting your Kid’s Teachers in This Unprecedented Year

Aug 25, 2021 | Bryan

The last two weeks we have discussed tips on how to prepare your kids for their first day of school. Today we are going to talk about how to help teachers prepare for their first day of school. No matter what shape this school year takes this fall for your child, whether it be in-person, remote, or some kind of combination, there’s no doubt that this year is going to be different.

So now, more than ever, we should all be in this together. And a great way to support our educators is to help them get their classroom essentials. Although essential supplies can vary by teachers, there are some classroom supplies that are almost universally acknowledged by teachers as being essential.

The classroom supply list below is ordered from most essential to least essential (but most definitely still helpful):

  1. Pencils
  2. Electric Pencil Sharpener
  3. Dry Erase Markers
  4. Colored Writing Tools
  5. Post-It Notes
  6. Chart Paper
  7. Paper
  8. Highlighters
  9. Timers
  10. Erasers

With this list you can help support your kid’s teachers support your kids. Again, this year more than ever, we’re all in it together.
