Q: Why did you choose to own a Mathnasium center? A: I loved the idea of helping to provide an answer for a real need in the community. I struggled with math when I was a teen but improved later with support and assistance, so this is personal to me. Helping hundreds if not by now thousands of children improve their confidence and math ability, translating to all subjects, has made a real impact on me and the Mathnasium community.
Q: What do you like about the city your Mathnasium center is located in? A: Atlanta has got it all. Great sports, great food, lots of activities and entertainment always going on.....Atlanta has become the South's economic capital and I'm proud to be part of it.
Q: Can you think of any way that your center has positively impacted the community that it’s located in? A: We have become a wonderful neighborhood center for the local community to improve confidence and academic ability translating into a richer and better community. We are grateful for our Buckhead community and love to serve it.
Q: Did you like math when you were in grade school? A: I always liked math, when I understood it. I struggled from time to time and would have benefited greatly for a Mathnasium back in the day.
Q: What do you think you would have liked most about Mathnasium if you had attended when you were in grade school? A: It would have helped given me the confidence to tackle things I was insecure about.
Q: One last question, what’s something fun you enjoy doing in Buckhead? A: One of the most amazing things about our city is the ability to go from a busy, vibrant environment to a quiet beautiful spot in nature feeling like you are a million miles away. My family loves tubing down the Chattahoochee river for a reconnection with nature but very close by. "
