We hosted our annual Pi Day party on March 14, and what a blast! Pi Day is always an amazing opportunity to learn, have fun, and enjoy tasty pizza and pies - and this year was no exception! There was an amazing turn-out, and it was fantastic to see so many smiling faces!
Our festivities kicked off with six activities to learn about, explore, and celebrate pi! Everyone left with a better understanding of what pi is, a “Numbers of pi” bracelet, prizes, and fun memories!
Pi is a number with infinite digits and infinite possibilities. We held a contest for who could recite the most numbers of pi and another contest for who can make the most basketballs in from the 3.14 line! Congratulations to Michelle and Adlai for winning those contests and becoming our Pi Day Champions! Shout out to Blake who won our highly-coveted raffle - an astounding 50 cards!
We finished off with a wide-variety of delectable pies. Our amazing instructors, Max and Christian, had extra pie (in the face!) - talk about a tasty mess!
Our celebration brought together students, families, and community members for a fun-filled and delicious event. Thank you to all who attended our Pi Day party! You truly helped make Pi Day a day to remember. We can't wait to celebrate again next year!
