At Mathnasium of Cherry Hill, we believe the best exam preparation is building deep math understanding and mastery over time.
Students begin their enrollment process with a diagnostic assessment that helps us identify their current skills and knowledge gaps. From there, we create a personalized learning plan that builds math skills consistently, session by session, so students aren't starting from scratch before every test.
Our specially trained tutors work with students across any K-12 math class, from elementary math through Precalculus and beyond, reinforcing the concepts they're learning in school, filling in foundational gaps, and developing the problem-solving skills that serve them on quizzes, midterms, and final exams alike.
When a major exam is approaching, we can align instruction with the specific topics and concepts it will cover, so students walk in feeling prepared.
Yes! Mathnasium of Cherry Hill prepares students for the math portions of the NJSLA.
Our tutors align instruction with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Mathematics to ensure students have a solid grasp of the grade-level concepts they'll encounter on the exam. We identify each student's knowledge gaps through a diagnostic assessment and build a personalized learning plan that targets the skills they need to meet grade-level expectations.
Starting early makes the biggest difference. The NJSLA is designed to measure cumulative math understanding, so students who receive consistent support throughout the school year tend to perform significantly better than those who begin preparing close to the exam.
Ideally, students should start working with us at the beginning of the school year or semester to allow time for thorough gap-filling and skill-building. If the exam is coming up sooner, we're still here to help. Contact Mathnasium of Cherry Hill and we'll build a plan that works within your student's timeline.
Yes! Mathnasium of Cherry Hill prepares high school students for the math sections of the SAT®, PSAT®, and ACT®.
Our specially trained tutors use proprietary test prep materials and personalized learning plans to build the content knowledge and problem-solving strategies students need to perform their best on test day. Whether your student is taking the exam for the first time or looking to improve their score, we tailor preparation to their current skill level and target goals.
We recommend starting at least three to six months before the exam date, and earlier is always better.
College admissions math tests cover a wide range of topics, from algebra and data analysis to geometry and, on the ACT®, trigonometry. Students who begin preparation early have time to identify and close knowledge gaps, build fluency with exam-style problems, and develop the confidence that comes from sustained practice.
For students with significant gaps in foundational math skills, starting even earlier, in middle school or early high school, gives them the strongest possible foundation heading into test prep.
If your student's test date is approaching sooner, contact us and we'll build a focused plan around the time they have.
Mathnasium of Cherry Hill offers math test prep as part of a flat monthly membership fee. Pricing depends on your student's individual plan and session schedule.
For specific pricing information, please contact our center directly — we're happy to walk you through the options and find a plan that fits your student's goals and your family's needs.
The number of sessions depends on your student's current skill level, the exam they're preparing for, and how much time is available before test day.
As a general guide, most students preparing for a major exam such as the SAT®, PSAT®, or ACT® attend two sessions per week over three to six months. For state assessments or classroom exams, the timeline may be shorter depending on the student's starting point and goals.
After the diagnostic assessment, we'll have a clear picture of what your student needs and can recommend a session schedule that gives them the best chance of success.
Yes! Students who prefer to learn from home can join live, face-to-face online test prep sessions with our Cherry Hill tutors. Instruction follows each student's personalized learning plan so the quality and continuity of their preparation remains consistent whether they attend in person or online.
No, both formats provide the same personalized learning plan, face-to-face instruction, and caring guidance from our tutors. Many families choose a combination of in-center and online sessions for added flexibility around busy schedules and exam timelines.
