Andrew Kelly, Owner's Founding Story of Mathnasium of Countryside

Mathnasium of Countryside wants to introduce you to our Owner, Andrew Kelly, Owner

Q: Why did you choose to own a Mathnasium center? A: I think its important for kids to embrace math as I have in my life. It has opened doors to many diverse opportunities as my life unfolded, including this current one of owning a Mathnasium.

Q: What do you like about the city your Mathnasium center is located in? A:The Countryside area of Clearwater is a hub to several surrounding towns. I love the diversity of people I meet as an owner of a business in this area.

Q: Can you think of any way that your center has positively impacted the community that it’s located in? A: I like to think that the hundreds of young lives we've impacted over the years has helped in the classroom and at home.

Q: Did you like math when you were in grade school? A: I did enjoy math as a young person. I majored in math in college as well.

Q: What do you think you would have liked most about Mathnasium if you had attended when you were in grade school? A: If I had attended a Mathnasium when I was a child, it would have given me a much deeper understanding of the foundations, especially fractional sense. Although I have a bachelors degree in math, I have learned so much from our curriculum for the younger years!

Q: One last question, what’s something fun you enjoy doing in Countryside?
A: I enjoy golfing at the Chi Chi Rodriguez golf course and the terrific sandwiches at Jason's Deli.
