We know there is still a great deal of skepticism regarding the upcoming academic school year. Most schools in Miami are working on providing students with distance learning or hybrid options. At Mathnasium of Dadeland, here are the things we are sure of:
1. We are open! Our Mathnasium instructors will be assisting in the Dadeland center as well as on our video-conference platform. We are making your child’s safety our top priority. In-center health and safety procedures include:

Students will still have the option to learn via video-conference with Mathnasium@home. We want your family to choose the option that best fits!
2. We are here to help. As always, we assist your child in achieving their math goals! (getting ahead in math? filling in knowledge gaps? preparing for standardized tests?)
3. We will continue to assess your child. At Mathnasium of Dadeland, we know that every child is unique. Each student will have their own personalized learning plan. We regularly schedule assessments to benchmark progress and continue customizing their learning plan.
4. We communicate. Our team will provide progress reports by phone and email. We want to show you how your child is improving in our program! We are also able to schedule an in-person or video-conference conversation to thoroughly explain the results.
5. We make math make sense. We go at your child’s pace to make sure they are understanding math rather than memorizing steps or answers! Some techniques our math expert team uses are visual, tactile, aural, didactic, and Socratic. Our goal is to build mathematical thinking skills to create strong problem-solvers!
