Eagan Mathnasium Student Wins First Place Nationally in Math Kangaroo 2022 Contest!

SACHIN LEO, a student of Eagan Mathnasium, wins first place both at The State level and Nationally in Math Kangaroo USA, 2022 contest in his grade level. Math Kangaroo is an internationally recognized math competition held each year since 1998 in the USA.

SACHIN LEO is a very talented young boy with a lot of enthusiasm to learn math and science. He will be going to 3rd grade this Fall. Sachin told us more about his success and shared some of his thoughts in a video interview which can be viewed in the here.

Sachin has been with Eagan Mathnasium since he was in kindergarten (5 years old!). Irina Kahar, Assistant Center Director of Eagan Mathnasium, shared that - Sachin never misses his weekly session at Mathnasium. In each session, he joins with lots of interests to learn new things. He is a self-driven, curious, and always ready-to-learn talented individual.

Sachin said he was very focused on the test which helped him do so well in the competition. He explained in this interview how Mathnasium teachers were so helpful and cordial during all practice sessions.

Sachin’s mom, Mrs. Layolin Udhaya Jesudhass, is thankful to Eagan Mathnasium for their initiatives and cooperation, which actually help a lot to achieve this award. Sachin advised his friends to “be focused, work hard, be confident, keep trying and never give up.” We are proud of him and let’s congratulate Sachin on his great achievement!
