Do you believe that math education is important?
Do you want to earn money and college scholarships while at the same time helping groom the next generation of math superstars?
If you answered yes to all of these questions, the Maya Mathlete Community Volunteer Corp is for you. Sponsored and hosted by the Mathnasium of Eagan, this unique scholarship opportunity will give you the chance to talk with community members about the importance of a strong math background while furthering the cause of your own education at the same time! A resume with your highest math achievement in school
A recommendation from a Math teacher or department head
An unofficial transcript of your high school math classes
An explanation of how you have shared your skill in math with your community. Examples can include organizing and participating in district math contests like math league, math Olympiad, after school volunteer tutoring, organizing any community events, etc.
