Our Pulaski Road Elementary School Game night was a success! On Friday, February 1st, Mathnasium of East Northport sponsored a Math Game Night with the school PTA. Over 200 students and parents took part in what turned out to be a fun night! Many thanks to the great group of volunteers from the High School and Middle School Honor Societies, the PTA, as well as the school administration and custodial staff. "It takes a village" and we're proud to be a part of this village!
While the event is designed to be a fun, engaging night with student and parent involvement.....we were able to use some math and logic in each of the games too! Some exciting math games such as the 4 Way Count Down, Addimorphs and Beat the Odds! After each game, students earned stars on their Star Card, which were traded in for cool prizes.
Congratulations to the winning recipients of the raffled Amazon Echo, Kindle Fire, and the Mathnasium Scholarships. A thanks to Rachel Kozeletz and my family for helping with the event as well.
