Mathnasium of Georgetown's personalized math test prep programs are designed to help students at every level feel confident and prepared on exam day.
We help K–12 students prepare for upcoming quizzes, unit tests, and final exams across any math class, from elementary math through Precalculus and beyond. Using personalized learning plans, our tutors target the exact concepts students need to master so they walk into every exam feeling ready.
We prepare students for the math portions of the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) by identifying knowledge gaps and building the skills and understanding needed to meet and exceed grade-level expectations. CJ
Center Director
CJ holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Utah Valley University, where he balanced academics with a strong commitment to collegiate athletics and community involvement. Throughout his athletic career, he developed a passion for mentorship, dedicating time to supporting and guiding others both on and off the field.
Prior to joining Mathnasium, CJ worked in school fundraising in Austin, focusing on client success and retention. In this role, he built meaningful relationships and helped drive positive outcomes for schools and their communities.
CJ joined the Mathnasium team to combine his strengths in mentorship and relationship-building with his passion for youth development, helping students grow in confidence and academic ability.
Outside of work, CJ is a self-proclaimed nerd at heart. He enjoys all things sci-fi, fantasy, and history. Since recently moving to Austin, he has also taken up biking and short-distance road trips. A fun fact about CJ: he has appeared on two reality TV shows.
Jodi
Center Manager & Director of Education
Jodi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Math from Hope College and earned her secondary teaching certificate, along with a Master’s in Math Education and a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College. With over twenty years of teaching experience, she has taught everything from eighth grade math to IB Math Studies.
A certified gifted instructor, Jodi loves seeing the moment when a difficult concept finally makes sense for a student. She believes that with the right tools and support, every child can succeed—and even come to enjoy learning math.
Lauren
Director of Training
Lauren graduated from the University of Central Florida with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree focused on Mathematics Education and Psychology. Her studies and experience cover subjects from College Algebra and Calculus to Differential Equations and Statistics.
Her passion for math education began early in high school and continued to grow throughout her college years. Lauren believes math should challenge and inspire rather than frustrate. Since joining Mathnasium in 2011, she has found joy in helping students build confidence, deepen understanding, and discover a lasting appreciation for the subject.
