Here is an interesting article I found on Yahoo Sports. I love the last paragraph, which talks about John Urschel being speaking to kids about the importance of math!

Shutdown Corner

There are stories every offseason of NFL players who return to college to finish up the necessary classes to earn their degree, whether to fulfill a promise to a family member or maybe a promise he made to himself. But Baltimore Ravens' offensive lineman John Urschel is taking things to a new level this year.

Urschel is beginning PhD-level classes at the world-renowned Massachusetts Institute of Technology, advancing his study of math. As it says in the photo he tweeted, Urschel will focus on Spectral Graph Theory, Numerical Linear Algebra and Machine Learning

A fifth-round pick out of Penn State in 2013 and listed at 6-foot-3, 308 pounds, Urschel has started games at all three interior positions during his two seasons with the Ravens. While he was at Penn State, Urschel earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in math, and was working on a second master's when he was a fifth-year senior. That meant he was teaching classes on top of his obligations with the Nittany Lions football team.

Urschel spent the offseason last year as a "math ambassador," talking to students around Maryland about the importance of math.
