As early as preschool and as far as college level, Mathnasium has a set curriculum to help guide your student, visually and step-by-step to math success. Here at Mathnasium of Huntington Beach, we work as a fluid support system with our tools to aid your student's math learning.
Let's start by going through a student's learning process. The first step is a student being introduced to the math concept. Whether it's from school, a teacher, or a book, the student will be introduced to this new idea.
The second step is how the student processes the concept and comes to the conclusion of how thorough their understanding is. The third step is the student approaching their notes, their homework, their test or quiz prep, or any material related to the topic. Some students will be able to set a problem up. For other students, it can be as challenging as not understanding it at all and ends up being a lost thought.
At Mathnasium, we can operate as a support system for all three steps, wherever your student may struggle. We can introduce or reintroduce the concept to the students with a learning plan that leads them to their goal. Our instructors help provide the extra guidance a student needs to help them understand and comprehend the material they are assigned in a way that makes sense to them.
