Your Student and the "COVID Slide"

Oct 1, 2021 | Huntington Beach

Schools are opening up to in-person and so has Mathnasium. Teachers and Parents are seeing that students have been experiencing the "COVID Slide" where their math learning has been slipping and sliding and losing up to a year's worth or even more of their mathematical education.

From their multiplication tables all the way up to formulas and equations from the grade before, students are feeling unmotivated and helpless having to catch up from the information they are missing and not retaining.

What can we do, as Mathnasium, to help you and your student? How can students retain the information, solidify their foundational skills, and feel motivated through these changing times of coming back to school in-person?

Mathnasium sees the effects of school closures and online learning have on students and have made it our goal to help you and your student through these times. We will support your student in working the way back up the mountain after sliding down.

Let us help your student with their homework questions, test anxiety, and overall confidence in math coming back to school this year.
