There is a lot of uncertaining surrounding our upcoming school year. Schools in our NWDC community are using distance and hybrid approaches to educate your children. At Mathnasium we are certain of these things:
1. We are open! We are offering instruction both in our West Washington center AND online. We are putting your child’s safety as our number one priority! Among our many updated in-center health and safety procedures, we:
- sanitize and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly
- limit the number of students through scheduled sessions
- require EVERYONE to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer

Our center will be open but our students will continue to have the option to learn through our Mathnasium@home video-conference platform. We want the best for your family!

2. We are here to help. Our math expert team is ready to help your child achieve their math goals! (getting ahead in math? filling in knowledge gaps? preparing for standardized tests?)
3. We will continue to assess your child. Every child is unique and must have their own learning plan based on their mathematical needs. Assessments are used regularly to monitor your child’s progress and alter their plans on a need basis.
4. We communicate. We will provide progress report conversations through calls, texts, and emails in order to share our child’s results. Our team wants the parents to see their child’s improvement and hard work! We are happy to schedule an in-person or video-conference conversation to further discuss progress.
5. We make math make sense. Each child will go at their own pace in order to fully understand math. Our goal is to have math make sense rather than memorizing for the time being. We teach using visual, tactile, aural, didactic, and Socratic techniques. At Mathnasium of West Washington,wWe build mathematical thinking skills to create exceptional problem-solvers!
Self-schedule an assessment for your child today either in our Cathedral Heights center - OR - on our video-conference platform.
