Jan 22, 2019 | La Jolla

Mathnasium, the math-only learning center, prides itself on hiring Instructors (tutors) who not only are highly credentialed, but also have a passion for math and educating students.

Meet Danielle Connolly, the Lead Instructor of Mathnasium of North Carlsbad in San Diego, California. Danielle graduated from UC Riverside in 2017 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and minor in Mathematics. Danielle was initially drawn to Mathnasium in 2018 because of the way the program helped students learn math while maintaining a fun environment.

Off Mathnasium’s instructional floor, Danielle’s passion for STEM, education, and empowering young female leaders sparked her idea to create Make Them Mainstream, a business that works to help Parents and Educators empower young girls through STEM Education. Her business operates in multiple facets: Free content through Videos and Articles, Training for Parents and Educators, and a Subscription Box for young girls, ages 5 to 9.
