Video of the Month -- Order of Operations (MDAS)

Hey Mathnasium students!

Our instructor, Maryam, recently made a video to help you out if you're struggling to do math problems involving order of operations without parenthesis. 

Math problems with multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction are not performed exactly left to right. The order of operations gives different amounts of priority to different operations. MDAS is important for solving multi-step arithmetic problems because it removes ambiguity in the computations to be performed and ensures that the math matches the context of word problems.
