FAQs
What is Mathnasium@Home?
- Our @Home program is an alternate method of instruction that closely mimics the in-center experience for our students. This virtual center follows the same procedures as our brick & mortar center, meaning all students still work with LIVE Mathnasium Instructors on their own personalized Learning Plan and receive math instruction that makes sense to them.
What are the new Mathnasium@Home instruction hours?
Monday - Thursday 11:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Sunday 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
What technology do I need?
- A laptop or desktop computer with speaker and microphone capabilities. It is also highly preferred that you have a webcam for true face-to-face instruction, and a wired connection to your internet (for the best connection).
- iPads and Apple Mobile devices are not supported on the ConexED platform.
What if I have issues logging into ConexED?
- We have a specific phone number just for technical issues/questions! Please refer to the contact info below.
How do you help with Homework?
- For online homework, students should sign into their school’s online portal and then they can “share” their screen with their Instructor to receive live help on their questions.
- For paper homework, students or parents can take pictures of, or scan in, the homework and then send it to us via email or text (preferably before the session). See the contact info below.
How do I schedule more sessions or change my session date/time?
- You can schedule future sessions via our scheduling platform, Appointments Plus. We will show you how to do this in your first @Home session.
- You can reschedule or cancel an upcoming session via our scheduling portal or app
How do I get feedback on my child’s session?
- We will be checking in with your family in their first week of @Home sessions, and on a regular basis thereafter. If you ever have any questions or feedback, please give us a call, send us a text, or email us!
Do I need to be present for my child’s sessions?
- For the first session, we recommend parents attend with their child to start the session -- this way you can help your child log on and also learn how to schedule future sessions. You do not need to stay for the entire session.
