At Mathnasium, we make learning math fun! In an effort to further enhance our students enjoyment of our math learning center, we have a monthly fun calendar (downloadable image shared below).
Our Fun Calendar is additional fun that does not detract from a student's instructional time; students are welcome to stay beyond their normal session to complete the activity for additional reward stamps.
In addition to the fun activities our learning center will be hosting throughout October 2025, all of our Mathnasium students will be participating in Monster Math.
Monster Math is a team Mastery Check Challenge. All the students enrolled in our learning center have been divided up into teams (examples: Team Witch, Team Vampire, Team Frankenstein's Monster). Any time a student completes a Mastery Check, they earn one point for their team. On Halloween we will total up all the points to determine the final rankings of our Monster Math teams so we can announce winners on November 1st.
Monster Math is a fun way we incentivize student productivity and build comradery in our learning center.
