A: Our comprehensive math skills assessment starts with verbal math problems so that we can learn where each student is doing well and where they could use some help. We use the results to choose a written math assessment to further dial in the learning plan. After about an hour together, we have a complete picture of what each of our students need, whether they are behind or already ahead.

Q: How often should I bring my student to Mathnasium of Memphis East?

A: Kids should attend either online or in our center two to three days each week.

Q: Who are the people teaching my child?

A: Our instructors include professionals with degrees in math and engineering was well as college students who are majoring in STEM, and a handful of gifted high school students. All of our instructors have passed a math skills test and attended training in how to teach the Mathnasium method. Our instructors are experts at balancing fun with mastering material.
