Homework Time = Stress

Many parents come to our center looking for a school-like, structured environment with math experts that are available to help their student with their homework. Some parents feel more confident helping their students during homework time if they are familiar with the concepts and methods. Some students work better independently and tend to find the solutions on their own. However, for most families, homework time is a frustrating activity of the evening and causes tension and stress in the household.

When students are at home, they also face many potential distractions such as their family pets, siblings, technology, music, social media, video games, and toys. These distractions make it more difficult for a students to focus and gain retention of the concepts at hand. 

                                   
Mathnasium takes the pressure out of having to study at home, both for our students and their parent by providing a school-like environment with expert math help! Having a quiet space to work out frustrations encourages students to feel comfortable enough to ask questions, express their goals and needs, and move forward with their academic progress in math.
