A: Math comes in handy when cooking a new dish. Reading the recipe for the first time can be challenging if you don't understand the concept of fractions and converting them into decimals. Following the recipe to its entirety but not knowing how to add the correct measurements of ingredients, jeopardizes the whole dish. And it may not taste good!
Q: Tell me about a memory you have of learning math
A: I don't remember any songs, but what I do remember in 4th grade was when my teacher told me to write each step of how to solve the problem, and it helped me progress gradually with other math problems.
