Gobble Gobble, it's Fibonacci Sequence Day! On the 23rd of November, we Math loving experts celebrate the existence of the sequence by the Italian Mathmetician himself, Fibonacci.
What is the Fibonacci sequence you may ask? It is the sequence in which the number is the sum of the two numbers before it. This sequence starts as 1,1,2,3... hence the date 11/23 of which we celebrate this special event.
But before this special Math Holiday, Thanksgiving has arrived! The long awaited week where students are able to kick back and relax from school. But don't worry! We won't let them forget about the fun of Math. We are open regular hours Monday through Wednesday and closed Thursday through Saturday so that we too can spend the time with our loved ones and be thankful for our friends and family, and let's not forget about Mathnasium! After those tummies are filled with cranberries, turkey and stuffing we will all be back together on November 26th bright as ever and eager to learn.
All of us here at Mathnasium would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and Fibonacci Day!
