"Why do I have to learn this?"
Every parent of a struggling math student has heard this question! How do you explain to your child that strong math skills open endless possibilities for their future?
While we may not have the perfect answer, fact is, a strong foundation in math provides success! Not only throughout their academic career but throughout life.
Forget the Explanation- Make it Fun!
Obviously, if children are having fun, they will put in the effort! With the effort, comes success, and with success, confidence grows which furthers their success. After all being successful feels good and is “fun”. I call this the “Circle of Learning”. When I decided to open a learning center in Mullica Hill, I researched several programs, I chose Mathnasium because the programming is fun!
Back To School- The Timing is Perfect
With three weeks of school behind them, children are now settling into the routine of the academic year. They are forming good habits …. and unfortunately, bad ones.
Building a strong foundation for anything starts at the beginning and math is no different. Supporting in-school learning with at home support builds a strong academic foundation for the entire school year! Many of our parents tell us, the success their child is having in math they are also seeing in their other subjects.
Yes! This is the Circle of Learning at work…Fun-Effort-Success-Confidence = Additional Successes, not only in math and school, but in all their life endeavors.

About Mathnasium
In the 1990’s, education industry pioneers Peter Markovitz and David Ullendorff recognized that to truly be successful in school and in life, students need a solid understanding of mathematics. They set out to fill the disconnect between students’ learning skills and the math curriculum they were taught in school.
They developed The Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary child-centered approach to teaching math, based on how kids think. Their methodology works for children of all ages and skill levels, whether they are struggling, doing okay but could be doing better, or are already excelling and need more of a challenge.
Mathnasium Centers are math-only learning centers. They are committed to developing children’s skills to succeed in math and the confidence to achieve their academic potential. Centers are locally owned and operated by Directors who have a passion to teach, a love of children and a strong sense of community. Mathnasium has been trusted by million parents in neighborhood learning centers on five continents.
