Q: What did you notice about your center/re the first time you came in?
Lead Instructor: I immediately noticed the support from other instructors. All of them offered to help if I needed it. This bond between instructors helps all of us improve the learning environment for the students, through sharing helpful tips and ideas.
Q: What is your favorite memory at your center/re?
Lead Instructor: My favorite memory at our center is Pi Day 2023!
Q: What’s your favorite part about your center/re?
Center Director: I love connecting with each student, making them feel welcome, and letting them know I care about them. My favorite quote is ""Children don't care what you know, until they know that you care."" I let them participate in planning fun days on the calendar and giving them a voice to make suggestions for the reward cabinet prizes. Some students struggle so much with math, so I want to give them a reason to enjoy coming, until we've built up their confidence!
Q: What time of year is the most fun at your center/re?
Lead Instructor: Spring time is my favorite because of all the fun activities we have. Pi Day and sometimes we do math outside, spring time is always the most fun!
