Instructor of the month- Swathi Anathapadmanabha

Jun 7, 2021 | Noblesville

Swathi has been with Mathnasium of Noblesville for almost an year now. She might be the most popular instructor at the center! We asked her a few more questions to know her better.

What are your hobbies?

I love reading and spend lots of time reading books and random articles. My family and I also love traveling. Dance is like a stress buster for me. We have a tiny dance group and catch up almost every weekend to have some fun and make some moves.

What is your favorite math topic?

I never had a favorite math topic until I was introduced to Algebra. The idea of solving complex math questions using these tiny alphabets(variables) fascinated me. I love solving equations! There are times when I have nothing to do, I just sit with a paper and a pen solving equations.

Why do you love teaching?

Primarily because teaching does not feel like teaching.  It’s fun and it’s like we are playing a game. Teaching is an area where we are learning every day. Hours feel like minutes because you are working with these innovative and smart little minds. I would choose teaching over anything, any day.

What are your plans for future?

I believe in taking one day at a time, and don’t make too many plans for future.  For now, I am enjoying what I do. I would wait to see how the future unfolds.

What do you think about working at Mathnasium of Noblesville?

‘Amazing’ is the word. It’s a great team with a wonderful bunch of little ones. The sessions are so much fun with work and play. I think Mathnasium provides a solid foundation for these budding minds. I am very grateful to all the parents for choosing Mathnasium, for believing in us and for sharing your little ones with us.
