Happy New Year, Mathnasium Families! The holiday season is largely over, but the fun continues at our Learning Center with our latest FUN Calendar for the month of January, featuring the return of Game Hour to our schedule! Students will have opportunities to earn stars by participating in many of the events. Below is the calendar along with a description of each fun day:
Saturday 3rd- Double Star Day 🤩 - Earn twice the stars for pages completed!
Tuesday 6th- Rock Paper Scissors Day 👊🫱✌️- Challenge an instructor to Rock, Paper, Scissors! One star per round won, five stars if you win best 3 of 5!
Thursday 8th- Tic Tac Toe Day ⭕❌⭕ - Challenge an instructor to tic tac toe (or another in-a-row game!) Five stars if you win!
Saturday 3rd- Teach the Teacher Day 🧑🏫- Correctly teach a math fact to an instructor and earn five stars!
Monday 12th- Free Spin Day! 🆓 Spin the prize wheel just for coming in for a session!
Wednesday 14th- Red T-Shirt Day 🖖 - Wear Mathnasium's favorite color on your shirt and get five stars!
Saturday 17th- Chess Day! ♟️- Challenge an instructor after two full pages of work! Or challenge another student or try a checkmate puzzle!
Monday 19th- Martin Luther King Jr. Day- **CENTER CLOSED**
Tuesday 20th- Roll the Dice Day 🎲🎲 - Roll two dice for a chance to earn up to 12 stars!
Thursday 22nd- Tic Tac Toe Day ❌⭕❌ -Challenge an instructor to tic tac toe (or another in-a-row game!) Five stars if you win!
Saturday 24th- Free Spin Day! 🎡 - Spin the prize wheel just for coming in for a session!
Monday 26th- Double Star Day 2️⃣✖️⭐ - Earn twice the stars for pages completed!
Wednesday 28th- Silly Socks Day 🤪 - Dress up for the occasion and earn five stars! Wear two left socks, have fun!
Saturday 31st- Game Hour! 👾12:00pm-1:00pm - An hour to enjoy the games at the center! Blokus, chess, and more! Come for a session beforehand or just for the games.
