Q: What do you like about the city your Mathnasium center is located in? A: All the great things to do (Cactus League or cruising downtown), places to eat (have you tried Yupha's?) make Chandler/Tempe a great place to live and work!
Q: Can you think of any way that your center has positively impacted the community that it’s located in? A: Mathnasium of Ocotillo had helped thousands of students with math - building a strong foundation and things from class - and will be here to help thousands more.
Q: Did you like math when you were in grade school? A: Math was always hard for me when I was in elementary school (I wish there was a Mathnasium back then!) and when my middle school Math teacher told the entire class that we would never need what we were learning, it lit fire for me. From that moment, I felt challenged by math and was determined to master it and when I took the Arizona Teacher Certification test, I got 100% on the math portion. You never know where math will lead you!
Q: What do you think you would have liked most about Mathnasium if you had attended when you were in grade school? A: I would have seen a light at the end of the tunnel instead of feeling so hopeless and lost. Everything would have come together for me much earlier and I would have had a much easier time in middle and high school.
Q: One last question, what’s something fun you enjoy doing in Ocotillo? A: When I am downtown, I always get a slice of apple at Pie Snob. Did you know they have a pie ATM?"
