Mathnasium of Oviedo was featured as a Safe Small Business by Seminole County on Tuesday.
“Socially distanced seating, increased sanitization and less touch points all add up to a safe and healthy environment for mathletes to excel at Mathnasium of Oviedo,” Seminole County wrote on their Facebook.
To promote locally-owned small businesses during these hard times, Seminole County has been showcasing businesses that are doing their part to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Mathnasium of Oviedo has taken drastic measures to ensure the safety of students and instructors. We follow local, state and CDC guidelines, including social distancing, wearing masks, and disinfecting protocols.
Students are required to wear masks and disinfect their hands upon entering the center. Tables have been spread apart and seating arrangements have changed to keep students at least six feet apart.
We make math make sense and FUN! We incorportate fun math games to keep students engaged and interested in learning. Our reward cabinet is filled with toys, snacks, and gift cards for students who reach their math goals.
For families that are not comfortable coming in center, Mathnasium@Home is a great option. We provide the same live face-to-face instruction as in center, through video conferencing.
Students receive convenient tutoring sessions from the comfort of their own home or anywhere with an internet connection. @Home students can also earn rewards for their hard work. Any Mathnasium@home student can switch to In-Center sessions at any time.
“[Mathnasium@home provides] exceptional education during these challenging times,” Elana C. says. “They have been working tirelessly to make sure our kids get top-level tutoring while remote.”
