What better way to celebrate the summer than with a Mathnasium End of Year Bash! Students (and their friends!) from all grade levels were invited to join us at our Mathnasium of Portland center for the festivities.
Everyone enjoyed fun games and prizes while snacking on popcorn, pretzels, pizza, and doughnuts. Students strategized their way through logic games such as Chess, Blockus,and Four-Way Countdown. We also created our very own Math Jenga! Students also used their geometry skills to make hexaflexagons by folding strips of paper into multiple triangles to make very interesting shapes!
Every child who participated in the festivities donated to our local PTAs. The school with the most students in attendance earned the total donation. Thanks to our Mathnasium families, we will be donating the funds raised to Falmouth Middle School PTO!
