We know every student learns differently and at their own pace. Here at Mathnasium, we focus on building a strong math foundation!
In order to get there, we motivate our students to get through their Math prescriptive worksheets by positive reinforcement:
Star Stamps: For every page they complete we give them a stamp where they can complete reward cards. They can exchange these for candy, toys, or supplies from our rewards cabinet.
Positive encouragement: We know some problems can be challenging, our instructors understand and can always give them a helping hand through it.
Candy: For every mastery check (mini quiz at the end of their worksheet) scoring >80% can get them candy, wheel spin, and a raffle ticket.
Learning and practicing math in a fun way can reduce stress and frustration, making them feel motivated to tackle the next math problem they see!
