Q: What is a comprehensive assessment?
A: The assessment is a general grade-level diagnostic assessment that a student's customized learning plan is based off of.
Q: What things do you learn about a student when they take a comprehensive assessment?
A: The assessment helps measure how much of each Math concept a student knows at a certain grade level; therefore, helping us identify gaps in each concept. Through a careful gauging process, the appropriate grade-level assessment will be determined.
Q: What is a customized learning plan?
A: The learning plans are based off of the comprehensive assessment: no two students will have the exact same results. Each student will demonstrate varying deficiencies at different grade levels, no matter what their reason for enrolling in our program is. School topics can be assigned to help support our students' teachers may recommend too.
Q: How do you gauge progress?
A: Monthly progress reports helps everyone track which completed concepts have been mastered. Additionally, the progress checks students take every few months can confirm their mastery of concepts that was initially assigned when they took their initial assessment.
