Q: What’s something you wish parents and students knew when they enroll at Mathnasium?
A: Consistency is key! Coming in regularly during the month makes a big difference, like the old saying of "practice makes perfect"! It takes time, just like playing a sport or an instrument to become good at it.
Q: What’s something that surprises most students?
A: When students who said that they didn't like math when they first started, end up becoming good at it and then they do not dislike it as much.
Q: What’s something that surprises most parents?
A: That parents who have students who were struggling in math are pleasantly surprised to see grades go up in other subjects after coming to Mathnasium. Parents sometimes don't realize how much confidence contributes to success.
Q: Any other insights?
A: I've noticed that even when students are resistant to coming in to work on math almost always leave with a smile on their face, and that some students who say they don't like math are just frustrated with it, but being here helps them get past the frustration.
