Parent: I think parents choose Mathnasium because it is not a quick fix. It is an experience where it is not a bandaid- kids do not just get by, but they actually learn the material and learn to be self- sufficient.
Q: What makes Mathnasium different from other tutoring options?
Instructor: Mathnasium is different from other tutoring options because of course- the Mathnasium Method and our team teaching. I think a lot of kids get into the bad habit of becoming co-dependent on their tutors, and we encourage the kids how to really learn for themselves and not have us as a crutch.
Q: What would you say to parents who are considering Mathnasium?
Instructor: To parents who are considering Mathnasium, I would tell them they are headed in the right direction, as the Mathnasium experience will not be like others. We encourage our students to be self sufficient, and are not solely homework-based, making us unlike other centers.
