Q: What makes Mathnasium different from other tutoring centers?
A: We conduct a thorough assessment to develop a custom learning plan for every student, utilizing the Mathnasium Method. We're a math-only-tutoring center, and our instructors Jadaiah, Ben-Ryan, Michael, Soha, Chadley, Anika, Kaitlyn, & Caleb, to name a few, are the best around, and are passionate for helping others with math!
Q: Why would you encourage parents to consider Mathnasium?
A: We teach math to students in a way that makes sense to them. We develop a custom learning plan for every student so we can help them where they need the most. It is important to us that students develop confidence that they can do well in math, and we can help them get there!
Q: How often do students get re-assessed?
A: We start every student with a comprehensive assessment, and we conduct progress check(s) at key checkpoints within their learning plan so the student can get through the material they really need, while dynamically updating their learning plan with new data. Following the end of their learning plan, we conduct a post-assessment and will develop material to help ensure they mastered what they needed. We then restart the process and provide a new assessment to move the student to the next level. If a student has not made it through their learning plan within six months, we will reassess them so we can make sure we are up-to-date and current with their abilities and foundational math skills.
Q: What kinds of math help does your center/re offer?
A: SAT/ACT prep, homework help, early elementary, fractions and decimals, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and pre-calculus.
