It’s been a year since my kids started at Mathnasium of Laurel. I have seen great improvements in their math skills and number sense. The staff is amazing and friendly. The program is tailored at each student’s pace. They also help with homework. I highly recommend Mathnasium of Laurel. Bola

Both kids love going in and doing math! It’s one after school activity we’ve never had to argue about (so far) and it’s been almost a year😊

My daughter was struggling in school and had a D in math. Within one month of attending Mathnasium she was able to bring her grade up to a B and finished the semester with an A. The instructions at Mathnasium really help her understand math concepts and problem solving. They help her with basics, and new concepts, along with her homework. The instructors are all very nice and the reward system helps keep her motivated and engaged. Highly recommend Mathnasium.

My daughter has had an amazing experience at Mathnasium! She went from absolutely dreading math to now calling it her favorite subject, and she’s even taking honors classes! The transformation is truly thanks to Chris and the wonderful team at the Mesa location. They are incredibly patient, supportive, and have helped build her confidence in ways we never imagined. My son has benefited a lot by joining Mathnasium. His maths skills have improved tremendously and he has mastered many concepts in a short period of time. The teaching style is very effective as they create personalized curriculum for each student. If anyone is looking for a good coaching center, then Mathnasium is the place for you 🙂

Wonderful staff! They really care about the kids and parents. My daughter loves math and developed good math fluency. Every kid is a mathematician, some just need more practice!! I totally recommend!

Our daughter (8) is finishing up her first year at Mathnasium. We decided to try it out because we wanted to improve her math confidence. We think she's great at math, but she doesn't! We reviewed a few companies, but many of them made her feel worse and weren't as warm and supportive as Mathnasium has been. She's grown considerably over the past year, and even looks forward to going each week. They provide lots of nice incentives and contests to keep her interested. She also regularly notes how nice everyone is. While the curriculum isn't aligned with DCPS, we've found it to be complementary. We also appreciate the regular communication regarding her progress over time.

My eight year old started Mathnasium this summer and we can see a lot of progress after one month. She finally understands concepts that we tried teaching at home but were not very successful. Now she is ready to go back to school and I feel at peace knowing that she has the proper tools for a successful math class!

The environment at Mathnasium is very supportive and has a community feel. It has helped my child regain confidence in his math skills. The program is structured and engaging. The tutors and owner are very capable. We could see results in just a month and are very pleased.

Our daughter started this program 10 months ago due to gaps in math strategy and unlearned skills from the public education system. We have seen vast improvements in our daughters testing and math grades as a whole. Although this program is expensive, it has resolved some systemic issues from the public education system regarding math competencies.

My fifth grader has been at Mathnasium for 1-1/2 years, and, overall, we've all been happy with how things are going. My kid says that they explain math concepts well, and she loves all of the opportunities to get prizes. She usually leaves Mathnasium in a good mood, which says a lot about the positive spirit of the tutors there and the instructional approach. I have really enjoyed my interactions with Caira Ruiz, who really seems to want to 'get' each kid and understand how to make the work as effective and positive as possible. Mathnasium is pricey, but, for us, it has definitely been worth the expense.

We are so grateful for the incredible team at Mathnasium, who provide an effective and fun way of learning for kids. The lessons are custom-tailored to the kids learning style, and it’s evident in how well our daughter has been grasping the concepts. She loves math and wanted to explore more challenging concepts and we wanted a program that doesn’t burden her too much and still keep math fun. Mathnasium turned out to be that perfect fit for us. She’s been learning easy-to-apply techniques that have helped her excel in math, and her confidence has soared. She genuinely looks forward to each session, and it’s amazing to see her making such great progress. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for personalized, effective math instruction!

Chris and all the tutors are great. I can see how dedicated they are in making sure the students understand their lessons, without regard of time. My daughter is very comfortable asking questions because they're all accommodating, patient and genuinely care for their students. I can't say enough great things about these group of tutors at mathnasium mesa. The vibe is welcoming. Everyone is smiling and you can tell everyone is happy with what they're doing. They don't look like they are working. They have good rapport with all students making it a safe and happy place to learn.

The staff at Mathnasium is so kind, friendly, and patient. My son enjoys going there because he feels successful and they make learning fun. It was great when he felt proud of himself because he had learned something at Mathnasium that they were learning at school; so, he found it easy -- that really helped with his confidence in math, which is something that he struggled with before. Mathnasium tailors the curriculum to each student's individual needs, and they periodically assess the students' progress to make sure that they continue to meet their needs. It truly is individualized learning. Both my son and I love Mathnasium. I am very happy that we found them. Thank you.

My 4th grader loves it here at Mathnesium. He's been going there since 1st grade (when this location first opened), and he's holding on to his record on their "Brag Board" for most grades ahead (4 grades ahead). The teachers are patient and nice. There's a high retention rate of teachers so there's consistency week to week. Instead of just providing the correct answers, they explain clearly HOW to arrive at that answer. Their make-up policy is generous. You can also pause for a month if you need to. They provide a free assessment and lessons go at your child's level. Kids can also bring their math homework in for help.

My son is very comfortable with his tutor. It is too early to determine if he has gained more knowledge of the subject matter, but judging by my son's demeanor, he seems to have a new found confidence. Carl is very responsive and willing to accommodate our schedule. We feel very good here.

My son absolutely loves Mathnasium and he was struggling before with math. He didn't want to go to school, and said he felt dumb. He's gained so much confidence. He fell behind die to COVID and caught up so quickly.
