When most people think of tutoring, the first student that comes to mind is one that is struggling and needs help catching up.
While many of our students are struggling, about half of our population isn't!
We call these students enrichment students and they generally do well with their schoolwork and concepts and don't need much support with it. Since their material at school is relatively easy, we provide them with an opportunity to begin working on concepts above their grade level.
Not only does this challenge the student by learning something outside of the current skill set, but it also provides them with thriving confidence knowing they are learning new things their classmates have not learned yet!
Here at Mathnasium we believe in tailoring our program to each child's unique needs. So if catching up is not necessary for your child, then our goal shifts to keeping them on track and even getting them ahead!
