Love the program, but I do think you should offer more flexibility in terms of the number of hrs. It is difficult to get 5 classes in a 4 week month. We want the kids to love this not dread it..

Hi Dolores, thank you for your feedback! We love having them, and can feel how much they enjoy and learn from their sessions.
We do have packages of hours available – while the rates tend to be higher than a regular monthly membership, it could offer you the flexibility you're looking for. Alternatively, you do have the option to book 1-hr or 90-min sessions, so that instead of scheduling five 1-hour sessions, you can schedule two 1-hour sessions and two 90-min sessions (4 sessions totaling 5 hours of instruction). Please feel free to let me know if you are interested in discussing either of these options.

My child has been attending Mathnasium the past month. While math has always been a struggle and her least favorite subject in school, she confessed that she loves going to Mathnasium! She enjoys the atmosphere, the schedule, and has liked how all of the tutors teach! Wish we started with Mathnasium years ago - but better late than never! And, scheduling couldn’t be easier!! So thrilled with our experience thus far - we plan to continue thru the school year.

My daughter has more confidence in her math skills all thanks to Mathnasium. She does not fight me to complete her math homework anymore, even if she is struggling with a concept she will try to work it out or knows she can get help from her tutor. She loves the staff there and all her tutors! We have referred a couple of her school friends here and will continue to do so!

Mathnasium has helped all my 3 kids so much with math, but in addition it has helped my youngest through Covid lockdowns as well. It is a social interaction as well as math education. All the tutors are phenomenal and Sarah is just the best!!! So incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, her customer service is just awesome!

The tutoring has been great! The only challenge is interfacing with the app sometimes. I wish it would allow you to sign up for sessions even if the month is changing over because of the pay cycle. It's frustrating to want to book an appointment and then have to wait until the date changes for the new billing cycle. I also wish you could book more than one kid on one app.

My son struggles horribly with algebra. He is intimidated by math and has no confidence after years of struggling. He says he doesn't like going to mathnasium, but is always willing when the time comes. His willingness means he is liking it. I know better than to point that out to him and spoil it. Just keep learning.

Mathnasium has really helped both my children feel more confident with their math skills. Also, as a full time working parent the flexibility in terms of scheduling has been critical to my ability to obtain the math tutoring help my children requires. Setting a fixed time each week is just not always possible. With the scheduling flexibility I am able to shift as needed and my children still have their needs met.

We have had a very good experience at Mathnasium so far for our 11-year-old son. He seems to be gaining confidence with each visit and we are thrilled about that.
As it is January 7th that I'm writing this, with COVID cases rampant throughout the area, I did want to point out that the one area that I'm finding a bit unsettling is the distancing within the center. We are grateful that there is an online platform to pivot to, and may just do that for awhile as we are probably in the midst of the post-holiday surge. We really do like the in-person experience, however, given the Zoom fatigue our kids are already experiencing by not being in school full-time.

My son is a strong math student and benefited tremendously from the tutoring he received. All of the tutors were knowledgeable and extremely helpful with his homework too. They also helped him prepare for pre-calc. We decided to use Zoom for all of the sessions and it worked perfectly.
I highly recommend considering using them if your child could use support for his math skills.

When the pandemic began and our children moved to remote school, I quickly signed them up for Mathnasium. Mathnasium's leaders - Jim and Sarah - have been instrumental in keeping our kids (11 and 8 years old) on track with their math skills. They are highly responsive to emails and phone calls, they provide regular updates on the kids' progress, and are proactive in reaching out if there are any issues with scheduling, etc. The Mathnasium sessions are interactive and personalized - the teachers work excellently in a one-on-one experience, ensuring the kids understand concepts before moving on to the next session. I listen in regularly to the kids' sessions - they are laughing, having a great time, and learning all at once. As a parent, I appreciate Mathnasium and its services. It's been a lifesaver during this challenging time. Thank you!

My 11 year old twins have been enrolled in Mathnasium for almost four years now. They love the program, the teachers and their overall experience. The staff is amazing and always attentive and responsive. The consistencing in the math program and the ability to access support in school assignments has built confidence and enthisiasm for my twins.
That said, the most ringing endorsemnt I can give to Jim and the fine teachers at Mathnasium comes from my oldest daughter's experience. In high school we pressed to see her in Honors Algerbra 2. The math department at our school cautioned that she would not be able to keep up and even went so far as to suggest that, based on her MCAS scores, she was at a remedial math level. My daughter did take the horors math class and, she went to Mathnasiusm. At the end of the school year her teacher said she was the hardest working student in the class. She went on to the Isenberg School of Business at UMASS Amherst and Graduated in the Honors College. At UMASS, she took math classes every year because, "I like the way math makes my brain feel". Without the support of her teachers at Mathnasiusm, her confidence in her ability to succeed in any given math class would never have come to fruition.

My son has been taking Mathnasium Zoom sessions since March, 2020. The tutors are fantastic and have been extremely helpful during this challenging time. He's currently taking pre-calc tutoring to prepare for school in the Fall. Highly recommend reaching out to them! We're still taking Zoom sessions but I know their Center is open for business, too.

We have been extremely pleased with the Mathnasium experience. My son joined after having trouble with Algebra I in school and had lost confidence in his abilities. Mathnasium gave him the skills and the confidence to get his grade up by a full grade and keep him from hating Algebra for the future. A win-win!

Jim and his staff are fantastic. They are totally committed to their students. I have sent all three of my kids to Mathnasium for math help. They all report back that it is so helpful for them. Jim and his staff work so hard to make math understandable. None of my kids are going to be Mathmaticians but to find help to give them confidence to do well on home work and test is priceless. Appointments are always available and easy to schedule. Why would you go anywhere else.

My two daughters never complain about going to Mathnasium and always come out smiling. They learn new material, more efficient approaches to completing math problems, and how to manipulate numbers in their head to show a true understanding of the number values. My daughters comment they feel more confident in math class at school because of their time at Mathnasium.
As a parent, I love how responsive Jim is for feedback on their progress and the feedback written by the tutors after each session about the concepts they worked on and the identified areas of strength and areas of growth. I highly recommend Mathnasium!
