My son struggles with math is very quiet and doesn't ask for help with work I put him in Mathnasium because math was not my best subject in school I tried to help my son as much as possible But decided he needed professionals His grades have improved and I'm very happy that even though my son is quite and doesn't talk They go above and beyond to work with him making sure he understands everything They help him to find the best and easiest ways to solve problems and get answers They try thier best to give him plenty of 1 on 1 time Every thing about Mathnasium is great

I cannot say enough great things about Mathnasium SODO. My daughter was struggling with 4th grade math and it was so stressful on all of us. Now homework is a breeze and she received an award from her school teacher for being one of the students with the highest growth in math in her class. That’s because of Mathnasium. She loves the tutors and really likes to go. At first I thought it was a bit pricey at first but after researching local tutors, their pricing turned out to be very competitive. 100% worth every penny.

We loved our time at Mathnasium (Sodo). Miss Emily and her staff are so amazing, so caring, so compassionate, and very effective at making your child love and do well in math. One of the biggest differences I saw in my daughter was an increase in her love of math , as well as her confidence in her math abilities. She looked forward to doing her homework at Mathnasium and learning to think about math in different ways. Finally, we saw a difference in her grades. She gets A's in math and scored a 4 on her Math FSA. Thank you Mathnasium SODO for all you've done.

Emily and her team at SODO MATHNASIUM are super professional, nurturing, encouraging and kind. Each instructor our daughter has gotten to work with has made math learning fun and interesting. We love the diversity of her team. We love the flexibility in scheduling. Our daughter started MATHNASIUM due to negative self talk during HW and declining math grade. Our daughter came out with a new attitude and love for math not after doing the program but literally after the initial visit. Emily made her feel heard, welcome and comfortable. My daughter said “you have to bring me back here”. 3 month’s later and our daughter still loves going to MATHNASIUM and every time I pick her up all she can talk about is how great it was, how much work she was able to accomplish and how proud she feels of herself. If my daughter is happy this momma is happy. I am truly thankful to have MATHNASIUM as a very important support for our daughter. Thank you for everything that you did for my daughter in two to three months. She was failing math and was fearful of even looking at her homework. You engaged her and a positive way and she ended up with a "C" in her class. If we had more time, I have no doubt this would have been a "B".

My daughter is 9 years old. She has been going to mathnasium for almost a month now. She use to dread hearing the word “math;” now, not so much. Sometimes she says it’s boring but overall, she has fun and is understanding what she is learning. The homework help is a big plus. She is already spending an hour here, and if she had to go home to do the homework too, that would be a bit much for a child all the time. Nothing happens over night but the progress she is already making is insuring me that I made the right decision in enrolling my daughter here.

Great experience at Mathnasium of SODO. My one daughter has experienced huge gains, and is currently 6 months ahead of grade level. My other daughter has also had great gains and is getting closer to being on grade level by the end of the year. The director, Lillian, is fantastic and listens carefully to concerns for my students. The instructors are upbeat, informative, and very knowledgeable of student needs. Great job Mathnasium!

We’ve been coming since the beginning of the school year, about four months and my son has gone up three letter grades in that time. He still worries a little before tests but the stress level has gone way down and his teachers are just so impressed with the hard work he has exhibited in class. Mathnasium his instilled confidence and a desire to do better, which is the best part!

My thoughts on the Mathnasium program is, that it is a good program that has been very beneficial to my two youngest children's math comprehension. Loved the patience and dedication of the young staff. Colin is experienced beyond his years in all aspects of business and customer service.
My inability to allow my child to gain the full engagement of the program was my only reason for leaving. The distance and daily logistics for transportation was too great for our needs.

My daughter has been going to Mathnasium for over a year and LOVES it! Not only has it helped her skills, but she is more confident in the Math assignments she is doing at school. Her grades have improved and I feel very confident that all of the areas where she was lacking, she is now mastering.
My son who is in the gifted class at school has been begging to go to Mathnasium. He's always been an A student in Math, but he has been begging me to go so we recently signed him up. He's having so much and is learning so many tips and tricks to make Math easier. Mathnasium is a great after school enrichment program for kids who love Math too!

Great program and my child is eager to go- he has fun at the sessions. Grades have improved and more importantly so has his confidence in his ability to succeed at math. Love the director and tutors; they are the reason the kids learn and have a good time while doing it. All are excellent with the students.

My daughter's confidence in Mathematics increased tremendously shortly after she started Mathnasium. She maintained her "A" grade in Math at elementary and now at Middle school. I have been very impressed with Mathnasium of Belle Isle! The staff, from Ms. Fernanda to Anna and Erin on down through the guys, is wonderful- skilled at both math and working with kids. My teenager is eager to go and actually has fun while there. I appreciate that the focus is on both the work the student is doing in school and the skills the student in lacking as revealed through an assessment so my child gets help with school math as needed while also filling in the holes of lessons gone by that weren't fully mastered. There is an emphasis on understanding what you are doing and why, not just lean this series of things to do to solve a problem without an understanding of the reasoning behind it. We like the no homework (unlike Kumon), that you can get help with your school homework for half the lesson if you want, that you don't set an appointment- just drop in as your schedule allows.. But most of all, Fernanda and her wonderful tutors have created a warm and inviting atmosphere where it is fun to learn math. It has been well worth the money. Just wish we had started earlier.

Our daughter has become more confident when it comes to math homework. She enjoys the instructors and the exercises used during her time there.
