Anna, the Southlake director has been very helpful. This program has helped our son get up to speed in his AP calculus class. The combination of assessment, work packets and homework help was just what our son needed. I would recommend this program for anyone who wants to maximize math skills and performance whether struggling or not.

Super happy and absolutely LOVE Mathnasium Southlake. We’ve seen a dramatic improvement in our son’s math skills over the last year with Mathnasium Southlake. He’s gone from struggling to succeeding in school which has been a huge accomplishment. Our son also loves going to Mathnasium and really enjoys their rewards system. It’s exciting as a parent, seeing my son excited about learning. We are so happy and look forward to continuing.

Mathnasium has truly sparked interest for Math in my daughter. I have seen an amazing transformation in my daughter in just a couple of months from someone who was not so eager to do Math to someone who is genuinely excited to tackle Math problems. Mathnasium’s approach of encouraging and rewarding mastery of topics has really resonated with my daughter.
Finally, I will say just keep up the good work because whatever you are doing is nothing short of phenomenal.

Her knowledge, professionalism, and genuine caring for the students is unparalleled by anything we have seen elsewhere. Have referred many friends to this location who are just as happy w/ Mathnasium. They are wonderful in helping answer any questions or concerns regarding my children’s grades at school. The teachers are great with the kids. I do wish there were less incentives that involved sugar but the kids do really enjoy the rewards of other options each time they complete their work. Both my kids have been diagnosed w some learning issues, one of them is ADD so I have witnessed that sometimes the teachers will allow the kids to get off subject and talk & joke amongst the others that has been very distracting to my hard to focus kids. Outside of a couple of the issues I have I really appreciate what Mathnasium has to offer & see great improvements in my children’s math abilities.

My child has been going to the center for 4 years and has no struggles with Math. Without Mathnasium my child would have been a C student since her previous school never taught her much needed lessons in math. Glad i took steps to enroll my daughter

My boys have been going to Mathnasium at southlake for 4 years now. Even though there is a Mathnasium close to our home, We love the instructors at this location. Instructors are very helpful and uses great strategies to explain math concepts. Materials are tailored to the needs of the child depending on what they are learning at school.
The improvement that I was expecting in my boys grades is definitely there but has not met my expectations yet. Hoping to see that soon.

I like the non competitive and easy going atmosphere where true long term learning occurs. My intention of choosing Mathnasium over other institutions was to evoke the interest of math in my son and not necessarily to earn good marks, which I think Mathnasium has not let me down till now. He often says that he loves Math, which is a great achievement for Mathnasium.

Both my children have been attending Mathnasium for the last 3-4 years to help them transition to a new school. They both have excelled in math in large part due to their preparation from Mathnasium. Their last final exam they both scored a 100% on their 6th grade Accelerated Math final and 8th grade Algebra final. They both hangovers credit to Mathnasium who has kept their skills up and helped them get ahead. I have referred several other families to Mathnasium already and will continue to do so.

My 13 year old son was struggling in his S.T.E.M. Math class. To be honest, he was failing. In just 4 weeks his grade went from 68 - 84. We are beyond pleased. Mathnasium explains math in a way that all children can understand. My son actually enjoys going, they make it fun. I highly recommend them!

My two children (ages 10 and 12) have been going to Mathnasium for math extension now for 4 years. They LOVE going to math after school. In fact, they often ask to go to math the moment they get in the car at school pickup. We have been so pleased with the curriculum, the instructors, and the positive reinforcement that Mathnasium uses. The drop-in schedule works great for a busy family as well, as there are a range of hours the center is open, but you can drop in at any time. This makes it very convenient. From our experience, the proof is in the test results. Both of our kids have scored 100% on their standardized math tests several years in a row now, and they are performing approximately 2 years ahead of their respective grade levels in math.

We have referred Mathnasium many times to others. Meagan has been wonderful in helping pinpoint how to best help our daughter understand math concepts. Last year we watched her go from struggling in math to becoming an "A" student. We are very pleased with the results Mathnasium was able to help her achieve.

Love everyone who teaches along w/ Merideth Jones. Both of my children have a very good grasp of math since being enrolled @ Mathnasium. My daughter who once had a difficult time concentrating and did not have a lot of confidence in her mathematic abilities now is in Accelerated Math doing math at school that is one year ahead of her grade while making straight A's this past school year. She made a 99% on her last Math STAAR exam too. I credit her tutors at Mathnasium with helping her get to where she is now with math. My son really enjoys math too thanks to Mathnasium and feels very confident in his ability to master an accelerated math class next year in school.

We are very grateful that our grandson attended sessions at Mathnasium. He did learn Math and is now able to work out his problems at school with little help from his teachers there. The one nagging thing about Mathnasium was the disappointment about helping with homework. It was worked out but we always felt a little disappointment that helping with homework was not part of the "plan". As the teaching method these days are quite different than when we grew up - the communication about helping with homework was not "really" allowed but they would allow the child to do the homework after the regular assignments - we never really knew how much help Andrew had with this --that was the only thing I feel could be addressed in a much needed environment of change. That would help parents more than anything - homework can be quite frustrating on both parts - the child and the parent. You guys could be the stepping stone to peace and success!

Thanks for your support! We are glad to have been able to work with Andrew and watch him make so much progress. I apologize for the misunderstanding regarding homework. We do allow up to half of each session to be dedicated to homework. During this time, students may ask any questions or have help working through problems from their homework. I do allow the instructors to check a few problems if the student asks, but never the entire homework as they do not have a key and this would be very time consuming if we were checking each students' entire homework. We also have a program specifically for homework called our Homework Help program. This is where a student can drop by and only work on their homework. If Andrew ever needs homework help, please feel free to drop him by for a free session! We'd love to see him again. :)

My son Cayden attended Southlake Mathnasium for an entire year bridging 4th and 5th grade. The strategy used to help him, identifying and closing learning gaps, was exactly what he needed following a move from a different region of the country.
Cayden went regularly, 3x per week and always looked froward to it, even after being in school all day. That alone let me know we had made a good decision. The Management, Brian and Maegan, along with the entire staff of instructors ensured a supportive and effective experience at each visit.
By the start of 6th grade, Cayden and Mathnasium had closed all of the gaps that had caused my son such difficulties in Math when he first arrived at his new school. Along the way, and very important to me, Cayden maintained his love of Math as his Mathnasium instructors never allowed him to feel defeated. He is now consistently scoring in the high 90's in school. I am convinced that would not be the case if we had not decided to give Mathnasium a chance to help him. One of the best decisions we have ever made for our son's education.
