Luis enjoys biking, golf, and watching soccer. He is obsessed with his daughter Levi and son Declan and enjoys spending as much time with them as he can!

Robert

Assistant Center Director
Robert is the assistant Center Director at Mathnasium of West Babylon. In pursuing his passion for the sciences and the natural world, Robert achieved a Bachelor's degree in Ecology with a minor in Mathematics from SUNY Plattsburgh in May 2022. Motivated to understand the natural processes that govern the universe, Robert has dedicated much of his effort to understanding complex processes and interactions that provided the foundation for life and the energy needed to develop a prosperous society. Mathematics, as a language to interpret the behavior of the universe, had always been a subject of interest to Robert. This interest propelled his early success in mathematics through primary school and later at university, as well as a passion to share his understanding and the joy felt in finding understanding in mathematical concepts. Just as a magnificent tree grows from a minuscule seed, so must the knowledge to describe the universe comes from simple concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division! Eager to share knowledge that can grow to enrich the students throughout their lives, Robert instructs with patience, enthusiasm, and in good humor to help encourage students to engage with concepts that may at first intimidate, but later become steps to ascending even greater heights.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
