Sean Brookman

Center Director

Sean has been with Mathnasium since 2012. He loves math, enjoys the energy and enthusiasm when students succeed, and is a fanatic about problem solving. Sean assumed the role of Director at the end of 2021 and is proud of the students in the community that have thrived and grown over the years. He has a B.S. in Business Administration and Finance and holds a Juris Doctorate J.D. in Law. Admitted to practice in Connecticut and Michigan. Sean has always enjoyed teaching and training both students and staff. In his exciting and varied careers over the years from an executive chef and food service director, to a business banking vice president to his work with the Small Business Administration to his law practice, Sean has finally landed his dream come true as a math instructor.

Lead Instructor, Mathnasium@home

Sara is always motivating students to achieve growth. Hard work and dedication are her mantra. She can keep students engaged, focused and eager to learn more. Particularly passionate about different learning styles and teaching methodologies, she always takes a student-centered approach. Students particularly find her methods for problem solving to be useful.

Kim

Instructor, Mathnasium@home

Kim is currently double majoring in Biology and Psychology at the University of Connecticut. As a high schooler, she took advanced math courses at the University of Hartford and especially enjoyed Differential Equations and Linear Algebra. She teaches through collaboration and adapts to fit the student's needs

One of our first instructors and team members, Jackie has been a classroom teacher for 5th graders for nearly a decade. She brings experience, patience and a supportive and encouraging approach to her teaching.

Hannah is a fantastic instructor, providing encouragement and insightful instruction methods. Highly capable and motivating, she works with a broad range of students from Kindergarten up to 12th grade.
