Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Ashley White, Director of Operations

Ashley White, Director of Operations for Mathnasium Anthem and Stetson Hills, holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Public Relations as well as a Master's degree in Leadership. She comes to Mathnasium with a robust background in Marketing and specializes in community engagement. She believes that helping kids find their confidence is world changing and she brings that passion to work everyday. When she isn't working, she is busy chasing her toddler and doing her best to keep up! 








Assistant Center Director Chelsea Soriano, Assistant Center Director

Chelsea is a graduate from California State University Dominguez Hills. She was awarded a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Chelsea has worked at Mathnasium Centers in California for over three years and has now moved to Phoenix AZ. Chelsea has also worked as an AVID tutor with the ABC Unified School District for over four years. In her free time, Chelsea loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys watching baseball and hopes to visit every stadium at least once.







ED Scott, Instructor 

Ed is a Certified Mathnasium Instructor and a 17-year Anthem resident. After graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Mathematics, Ed spent 35 years in the computer industry working for five computer companies in a variety of jobs ranging from computer programmer to Vice President of Software Development at two startups, and then as Chief Architect on the NCR/Teradata project to build the world’s largest computer. Since retiring in Anthem, Ed continues his love for math by helping young people gain confidence conquering their math challenges.



Rose Bongiovanni, Instructor

Rose has extensive experience as a Teacher in New York City. Rose taught 1st Grade to Middle School that she enjoyed a lot. She help guide a number of students to high acadamic achievement. Rose has received her BA from University of Memphis in International Relations and an M. Ed from Arizona State University. 






   Jarren Hall, Instructor 

Jarren specializes in teaching of the more advanced levels at the center with the middle and high school students. Jarren has extensive experience with both teaching and tutoring math levels such as Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus 1 and 2. Jarren has a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics from the University of Michigan-Flint and has recently moved from Michigan last year to this area and is looking forward to helping out as many students as he can here at the Mathnasium in Anthem.





  Douglas Sarsany, Instructor

 Doug has a BA in Economics from DePauw University and a Masters in Finance from The University of Chicago School of Business.  While not tutoring at Mathnasium, Doug uses probabilities to trade financial derivative products.  Doug and his family recently moved to Anthem from Costa Rica.  





Christy Lum-Naihe, Instructor 

Christy received a Bachelors in Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has tutored children & adults of all ages in math subjects ranging from elementary-level up to multi-variable Calculus & Abstract Algebra. When Christy is not showing kids how awesome math is, she is showing kids how groovy soccer is by coaching youth soccer throughout the valley. Christy says, "the best thing about working with kids is that while I am instructing them through some concept, whether it's soccer, math, or character development, I have an opportunity to learn from them. Their views are hilarious, almost always logically sound, and interacting with them keeps me young!"




 Patrick Procter, Jr., Instructor

Patrick is a junior attending Boulder Creek High School. He has completed math through Precalculus and will be beginning Calculus AB. Looking to the future, Patrick wants to go to college for Biomedical Engineering. In his words, “it allows me to change the world for the better while continuing my enjoyment of math.” In his free time, Patrick plays violin and practices Krav Maga through the week



     Asiya Falak, Instructor

Asiya is a senior attending BASIS Peoria High School. She has completed math courses all the way to Calculus II and pursued further, mastering a capstone course called Vector Calculus. After graduating, Asiya intends to continue her interest in math by majoring in Computer Science. In her leisure time, Asiya loves going on hikes, running, programming, reading, singing, playing instruments, and spending time with her friends and family.
