Ashley White, Director of Operations
Ashley White, Director of Operations for Mathnasium Anthem and Stetson Hills, holds an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Public Relations as well as a Master's degree in Leadership. She comes to Mathnasium with a robust background in Marketing and specializes in community engagement. She believes that helping kids find their confidence is world changing and she brings that passion to work everyday. When she isn't working, she is busy chasing her toddler and doing her best to keep up!
Chelsea Soriano, Assistant Center Director
Chelsea is a graduate from California State University Dominguez Hills. She was awarded a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Chelsea has worked at Mathnasium Centers in California for over three years and has now moved to Phoenix AZ. Chelsea has also worked as an AVID tutor with the ABC Unified School District for over four years. In her free time, Chelsea loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also enjoys watching baseball and hopes to visit every stadium at least once.
Braden Parker, Instructor
Braden has lived in Anthem for almost his entire life. Before working at Mathnasium, he started his own private tutoring service while attending Boulder Creek High School. He has experience tutoring in various fields, such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. As such, he specializes in teaching the more advanced levels at the center with the middle and high school students. He has a passion for physics and loves to show students how math applies to the real world. While not tutoring, he takes online university courses and enjoys reading, playing video games, and collecting vinyls.
Christy received a Bachelors in Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has tutored children & adults of all ages in math subjects ranging from elementary-level up to multi-variable Calculus & Abstract Algebra. When Christy is not showing kids how awesome math is, she is showing kids how groovy soccer is by coaching youth soccer throughout the valley. Christy says, "the best thing about working with kids is that while I am instructing them through some concept, whether it's soccer, math, or character development, I have an opportunity to learn from them. Their views are hilarious, almost always logically sound, and interacting with them keeps me young!"
Patrick is a junior attending Boulder Creek High School. He has completed math through Precalculus and will be beginning Calculus AB. Looking to the future, Patrick wants to go to college for Biomedical Engineering. In his words, “it allows me to change the world for the better while continuing my enjoyment of math.” In his free time, Patrick plays violin and practices Krav Maga through the week
Rishi Misra, Instructor
Rishi is a junior at Mountain Ridge High School and has completed all the math courses till Calculus AB. After graduating, he plans to pursue his interest in math by majoring in Biomedical Engineering. His interest in math has made him appreciate the logical nature and he wants to help those who need a little bit of help. In his free time, Rishi likes to go on runs, play video games, and spend time with friends and family.
Amay Shah, Instructor
Amay Shah is a junior at Mountain Ridge High School. Amay has completed AP Calculus AB and will be completing AP Calculus BC this school year. He am currently involved with the Future Physicians of America at school and he volunteers at Honor Health Deer Valley Medical Center, hoping to pursue a career in medicine. During my spare time, I enjoy biking, watching Netflix, and spending time with friends and family.
Avalon McLeod, Instructor
Avalon is a senior at Cactus Shadows High School and has completed all math courses upto Calculus AB. Avalon plans to attend University of Arizona in Tucson in Biomedical Engineering. She loves math because she appreciates the challenge of problem solving and enjoy sharing her experince with those who need a little hwlp. In her free time, she delights in being outdoors, photography, painting and spending time with family.
